Strategic Focus
The Power Sector in Nigeria recently took an encouraging turn around with the Federal Government’s bold plan to revamp the sector which is now open to private investors. With a population of over 150 million people Independent Power Projects (IPPs) would be a major sources of new power generation capacity to meet the current energy shortages including the suppress and the growing demand from population explosion which cannot be remedied from public resources.
We believes that like many countries to name but a few China, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and the Philippines which are turning to private investors to expand electricity supply, an all embracing Distributed Power Generation with strong focus on small gas plants, renewable energy and small hydro in particular would ultimately be the unique efficient solution that will make available in every nook and cranny of Nigeria to drive industrial growth and economic development

This is of the few strategies that has the potential to meet a large and immediate financing gap by mobilizing direct foreign investment in the power subsector and also one of the basic reasons we are open to collaborating with internationally recognized, credible small, medium and large power development companies in contributing to move the Nigeria Power Sector forward.
There are also new forms of financing in place in Nigeria. The reform programs’ currently being carried out in Nigeria is addressing most of the financing structures and the Sector now has the Electricity Bulk Purchaser to buy power from private power producers.
Properly structured IPPs can easily be approved and licensed in Nigeria and this we do for the Nigeria public. If you plans to embark on or want to develop an IPP, Ishak-Soneh Nigeria Limited would be glad to assist in providing the front-end services, including acquisition of license from the authorities and sourcing finance and a follow-through process till completion.
Why not contact us today, you will be glad you did and with our flexible model which makes it mandatory to involve the Project Owner in all stages of the design process a good milestone is achieved on cost-effective and properly engineered unique solutions tailored toward your project.
